Theron, Frances McDormand

THE PLOT:
Aeon Flux is a mysterious assassin working for the Monicans, a group of rebels trying to overthrow the government.
When she is a sent on a mission to kill the Chairman, a whole new mystery is found.
The reason why Aeon started questioning her part of this world is because her own sister vanished without
a trace and the whole world except her doesn't even remember who her sister was. While working on this mystery she discovers
that many people vanished and someone not just vanished from the world but vanished from everyone's minds, all say one close
person who no one else believes.
CHRISTOPHER'S OPINION:
This movie was based on one of the WEIRDEST cartoons EVER made. I never really got into the Aeon Flux
cartoon but I saw some of it. The cartoon show itself made no sense and what I saw was the character of Aeon died at
the end of every four minute or so episode. The plots made no sense and there was never any dialog. How any writer
could make heads or tails out of that mess of a show and turn it into this fairly good action sci-fi is a bloody miracle to
begin with. I give it 6 STARS.

WAYNE'S OPINION:
Chris makes some very good points, but I think I would have loved to have seen Charlize Theron in the little
Aeon Flux outfit like in the cartoon plus in 2005 you think they would have been able to give her the anime style hair from
the cartoon. Frankly I never really cared for the cartoon, I like my cartoons when they are to suppose to be serious
to be make I don't know SENSE! So, not being a HUGE fan of the cartoon I actually enjoyed this movie more then I think
any fan of the show would. I give it 5 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ LOTS OF ACTION (Charlize Theron kicks A Whole Lotta Ass.)
+ STORY (The story works better then ANYTHING they came up with in that cartoon show.)
+ CAST (The cast of the movie does a great job.)
+ NON-FANS (If you are NOT a fan of the carton show then you will probably enjoy it more then if you were.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO OUTFIT (As far as we can remember Charlize Theron never wore the hot little Aeon Flux outfit.)
- NO ANIME HAIR (Charlize's hair style never matched the character either.)
...AND...FINALLY...
- FANS WILL HATE IT (What we can see this movie has little to do with the show, true fans of the show will
HATE this movie.)
